Hair dye question

Hey all
I regularly dye my hair at home (every 4-6 weeks) to cover the greys even though I'm only 28
. I last dyed it 2 weeks ago.
My mum has just mentioned that in our normal hairdressers they have offer of full head colour and cut/blow dry for just £10 more than normal cut/blow dry.
I am considering this option but would I need to wait a certain amount of time before I can have it dyed professionally?
Hairdressers is shut today for a wedding so can't ring and ask them til Monday!

You can get it done the day after you dyed it at home if you want- there are no rules. However, I'd wait at least 10 days, this is because I have dyed red hair and this bleeds alot at first and fades fast. I'd also be wary of any colour which lightens your hair as the process is damaging and I'd want to wait for the natural oils from my scalp to try put back some of the oils which had been stripped whislt lightening it.
I'd wait though for as long as you can as it may feel like a great plan, but it just seems like a waste to redye your hair if you don't have any roots or patches. Maybe wait another 2 weeks at least?0 -
