Can't you see what is happening? Last week we had all sold out on the first day, none available. Then the next day people were still buying them, and the day after that and so on. Today we can still buy them even though they are on ebay.

There is a famous story about a king and some new clothes he bought. Rather than use his own eyes he decided to follow the pack so much that he believed the hype.

I feel like a little kid standing at the side of the road pointing and saying "the king is in the altogether!".

I just checked and I can buy 23 if I want, a whole week after we were told they had run out. Why? They have been reading 23 left now for almost 20 mins, no one is buying them, carefull my friends.

Wow I just back tracked the thread for the day.

Hamleys have been selling these for the last 6 hrs 15 mins at pretty fast rates (just imaging all the yanks in the shop too) and still haven't run out?

I would seriously consider off loading a few at cost if I had too many to lower my risk.

They hosted the official Worldwide launch party, their head buyer is on record as saying he thinks this will be the must have toy of 2006. They clearly ordered way more than any other retailer as they think it's going to a big seller. Your 'evidence' isn't conclusive...yet!

Have to admit Clasics may be correct. It all depends on what happens on the run up to xmas and noticably the 14 days before Xmas.

I certainly am amazed someone would bid on Ebay though when you can just buy it from a shop for less. Has there been any slow down on Ebay UK Clasics?
