I deal with a lot of Lloyds debts and I've only ever seen one where they took court action (and circumstances were unusual).

But there's no point you paying £25 per month if they're adding on £65.

Really, unless you have a house that they can put a charge on it is fairly unlikely they will take you to court as it will cost them money/time/effort and could be throwing good money after bad.

It works often when they threaten with court action, baliffs, debt collector etc. cos some people panic and pay up!!!

These collections will sell their own grandma to get ££ out of you!!!

I have been told in the past could I get money from a credit card/family/friend to pay them!! They would ring daily or several times daily to grind you down!!

A few things to throw into the pot.
Have they issued a default for that account?

Also, have you checked whether the CCA is enforcable? If not you should be able to use this as a defense if it did go to court.

As Lloyds are taking you to court, send Lloyds a CPR 31.14 request to see what paperwork they are using as evidence of the credit card debt.
Lloyds have 7 days to respond to your request, send by recorded delivery so you have a complete record that the CPR request was delivered.
Lloyds obtained a CCJ against my wife before I met her, I have now had it set aside.
