Sounds great, was planning a cheap weekend at Combe Haven for my birhtday in September so this would be brilliant!

I'm a bit unclear about the additional charges though - can anyone clarify? There would be 2 adults and 1 child in my party, am I correct in thinking we would pay for 4 people?

So that would be £13 basic charge for the weekend.
Plus £8.50 ent pass per person (bringing total so far to £37)
Plus £6.50 service charge - is this per night or per break?

So £37 for break inc ent pass plus whatever the service charge is - would appreciate clarification on this, thanks!

Ah, just seen it is per unit per night, so an extra £19.50.

So a weekend at Combe Haven would be £56.50 I think - bargain!

As far as i understand they usually base the holiday on a minimum of 4 people, so if 1,2 or 3 people go you still pay the equivalent as if 4 people where going.Im sure someone will correct me if i am wrong.

The service charge is a compulsary charge which is to cover gas and electricity £6.50 per night.

You dont need to buy the passes if you dont want them
  • You've come up trumps again. Thank You.

Just seen that pets are not permitted on any of the breaks so - as we have two well behaved dogs who make considerably less mess and noise than most children I know - I have wasted 45p today buying The Mirror................:(

(Mind you, when we did The Sun similar short break holiday, we cost £9.50 each whereas the dogs cost £30 each!!!)

ETA Even crosser now as many of the parks are the same ones as The Sun holiday so why no pets??????

Friends of mine with a dog ring up the park they want to go to at the same time these offers are on and often get a last minute deal for a comparable price - check out local travel agents as well, you might still get something cheap.
