I got a letter yesterday from HSBC saying they'll pay my full amount! JUst got to make sure they give it as a cheque now - any idea on how I go about wording this?
Congratulations to everyone else who's had success - it feels very "power to the people"!

Have you closed the account, otherwise they usually deposit
Just say, thanks you for your letter dated xxx
I look forward to recieving the cheque for X amount by return of mail
I expect this cheque to bew with me within 7 days, whereby I shall advise the courts in writing.
Well done you xx:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Thanks Lynz!
My CCCS payments go into this account so sadly I can't close the account - I'd flippin' love to though! I will write as you suggested. Thanks again! We're "treating" ourselves to a washing machine as new flat doesn't have one! Oh, and our *cough*holiday to New York*cough*!!!0 -
Im so jealous! Im the first person ( although theres a couple more now) who have been moved to the mercantile court, which means If I lose, ( or either of the other 2 lose,) we have to a) pay the banks costs and b) no one else is going to claim ever and be successful.
Apparently this is unlikely to happen, but somethings gotta give at some point and wouldnt it just be typical :beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

My goodness, poor you. Surely it's a more extreme stalling tactic and they're having a go at making an example of someone. If so many people have had amounts refunded for the same reason you are claiming it can't make sense for them to stop you.
As one of the most regular people on here I wanted to let you know too that since coming to this site I have become a more confident and assertive person, not just with regard to financial matters but when you know you can tackle those it spills over into the rest of your life - it's amazing the changes I'd never have dared to make a year ago and it's all thanks to this site and people like you, so I will watch your claim case avidly as you deserve those horrid charges back.0
