I'm thinking of opening a betfair account so I can get my points as cash ... is it easy? I know my sister has done it but I don't particularly want tonnes of spamn or anything;)

I did it and very easy, credits come through very quickly and no sign of any spam...

I did mine via www.quidco.com and got £25 cashback as well!

Not sure if this is the right place to post, but I registered with Get Me A Ticket through Pigsback a few weeks ago and entered lots of different competitions for various prizes. A few minutes ago, I got a call from them, telling me that I'd won 2nd prize in one of the competitions - a free 7 day holiday for up to 4 people in the Costa del Sol. He said there was a booking fee of £29.50 per person and that I'd have to telephone a freephone number and quote the reference code that gave to me and ask them to send me the written documentation.

Does this all sound legit???? My colleague is convinced it's all a con......

Yep I *won* that too about 6 months ago but I came first . You have to attend a 2.5 hour presentation first where they give you the hard sell then place loads of restrictions on flight times, hotels etc. You will got your holiday for the £29.99 fee but they make you work for it. I wouldn't bother doing it.
