It's unfortunate that tsharp took a different slant on Jonas's post, but other people have been helpful, and I actually offered to send him a free SIM card. Unfortunately, I have not had a reply. But that solution would avoid the obvious problems in anyone sending him their own, often very private, mobile number. I don't advise anyone to do that.

I may be being thick... but I don't remember giving a mobile number for validation (although it's always possible that I did and have forgotten). Do you only need it for when you order vouchers? I've now updated my details to include one.

I have order a voucher and they needed my mobile number to send me a validation code (to my mobile) and then I had to type in the code.
    Does this make sense?

thanks rebl that probably explains it then I'm just 1 CT short to get my first Arcadia voucher so hopefully I'll find out for myself very soon! :T
  • I have emailed Jonas and offered to pop a new sim in my own phone so that he can use that # to receive his code and I'll then pm it to him.

What a great idea!! Now why didn't I think of that?

  • Droopsnout: I am very thankful for your help. I am sorry I haven't responded earlier but i am not at the forum that often. Btw i have founded a solution, but again thanks.

Claire DC: I guess i shouldn't have told them that i wasn't from the UK, but i am very bad at lying and if they had checked my account they would have found out either way.

Cabra1: I don't know of another place like pigsback.
  • And to all other people. I would never ask for a private number. I wouldn't hand over my own private number if I was asked.
And droopsnout are right there have been many very helpful people. For instance jennalicious who has send me an e-mail. By the way thanks for that.

My mobile number isn't registered on pigsback and they have never ever asked me for it, nor to send me a validation code.
