12p Tesco value washing powder

Tesco value washing powder is now 12p for 1kg. 3kg is still £1.49 Why would anyone buy that?

Crikey have they uncovered some MORE of this!!!!!

This has been posted before, but still a good heads-up

You need to post the store location though, as this only crops up in stores where they've got the old 1kg boxes left in stock.

O ok, it was at roneo corner, Romford. The SEL did say NEW though? Crazy tesco people!

Sounds like a mis-price if it says 'NEW'. Might just be in your store.

If it's the bilogical soap powder I use it in my dishwasher and its great, no taste, smell after. Even at full price much cheaper than dishwasher tablets

Off-topic, but I love the Roneo Corner; reminds me of Shannon's Corner near Raynes Park, near where I lived when I was young. It was named after the office filing company there, now long gone, called Shannon Systems. And down the road was a company called Seniors, who made fish/meat paste and another called either Lodge or KLG, who made sparking plugs. Enough, I hear you say!

This 12p powder is still for sale in Swansea's Llansamlet Tesco - quite a few packs there yesterday, but the SEL was missing, so people are probably not aware of the bargain (I checked it on the scanner).
