So all the bulls banging on about us being flooded by immigrants, & the best we can hope for in the future will be to live in a tent, shed or portakabin (which sleeps 6) need to be concerned about the market being flooded by all these vast swathes of properties added to the repo's, which'll have to be released soon.

It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

Most builders build to order at the moment. Or at worst phase, sell all, next phase.
Glad to see they are recovering though. If this keeps up I might actually get some balls and buy some building shares.0 -
so about 98k starts in the year
what was the net change (as some houses will have been knocked down)?
what is the demand for new properties.. usually estimated at over 200k per annum0 -

You could model your career on Mr Steve Morgan of Redrow fame. Seemed to do very well, sold up. He's now bought it back, after the value of the company went down. Worth approx £350million now.
Of course, he has a much more important role now...funnily enough, a lot of building is happening there!:)It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

Yes, he gave up trying to buy the team he loved and went for one on the cheap.
PS, I do like the guy, most Liverpool fans do TBH
pps is it me or is it since you have had city status they have taken B'hams example of making up some of the worst road junctions on earth. The ring road town centre used to be a simple thing to get round0 -

Liverpools loss was our gain. I share an office with a Liverpool fan. He has finally accepted that their best option appears to be administration.
The fact that he is relatively objective is one of his greatest assets. Sir Jack wasn't, & look where that got us.
Haven't noticed any real problems with the roads. If you think ours are bad, check out walsall! Our problem at the moment is the amount of roadworks going on, & the knock on implications of this. (Added to major work at burnt tree island , on the a41 , and on the m5/m6 )It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0 -

Kick him in the head, they can't do administration RBS take over if no buyer is sorted out in time.(they can then sell them for the value of the debt)
Tell him to cheer up, it has a great brand and will be sold, administration will not happen (can't)0 -
West Brom are back where they belong - the 3rd biggest club in the Midlands.
1st - Aston Villa
2nd - Birmingham City
3rd - See above
4th - Coventry City0 -

My silver lining to him, was that if RBS take em over, technically he'll be a shareholder!:)West Brom are back where they belong - the 3rd biggest club in the Midlands.

You say that, but remain cagey...;)
Or do you support your legs, because they support you?:p
I'd ask directly, but as you dodge the question, you must be ashamed of it.
I might go off on a rant about this...;)It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.0
