Hi there.
i would say do it, my dad lives in new york and i go there once a year and i love it, if my husband would move i would live there. i was at niagra falls a few years ago as well it is amazing. its an 8 hour drive from new york or an hour on the plane. if u are going only go to miagra for a few days not much to see after seeing the falls and on the go on the boat.
