Part of the Furniture 10,000 Posts Name Dropper
    Depends
    How secure is the company
What is the value of 10y11m (is it an 1/80ths or 1/60ths or 1/Xths scheme)
What is your salary & how is it likely to increase in the future
Is that 45k already in a pension or not

Sorry to clarify, were you formerly employed by Legal and General plc and is this money in its staff final salary scheme?
    Trying to keep it simple...;)
  • to clarify
i did not work for Legal and General, this is where I currently have my private pension which contains money that i transferred in from 2 previous companys i worked for, and i was contributing to this pension for 8yrs then stopped 5ys ago whn i started paying in to the company pension to the company i am still working with and who have offerd me an extra 10yrs 11mtrs for my 45k that is in my lg fund.
hope this clears things up thanks
