Terms & Conditions

1. Open to UK and RoI residents aged 18 and over, except employees and their immediate families of the Promoter, it's agents or anyone professionally connected with the Promotion. No purchase necessary.
2. To enter send your own original BBQ recipe featuring a Hellmann's mayonnaise (250 words max), fill in the official Hellmann's entry form available in-store. UK residents can post entries to Hellmann's BBQ Promotion, Freepost RRLT-EEAS-XBSJ, PO Box 7557, Derby DE1 0NP. RoI residents can post entries to Hellmann's BBQ Promotion, Nunki (UN5171), Dept. AA1880, PO Box 4214, FREEPOST Dublin 2. Alternatively anyone can enter online at www.hellmanns.co.uk. One entry per person per competition per week. No recipe can win more than one prize.
3. Photocopies, entries from agents, third parties, organised groups or entries automatically generated by computer, incomplete or illegible entries or those not in accordance with the entry instructions will not be accepted.
4. Promoter does not accept responsibility whatsoever for entries lost or delayed corrupted or not received. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt.
5. Each prize package is a BBQ experience comprising: services of a chef and assistant to prepare, host and cook a BBQ party for up to 20 people at the winner's home in the UK or RoI or other location in the UK or RoI arranged by the winner and agreed to by the Promoter; all the food for a gourmet 2-course BBQ; a selection of soft drinks, beer and wine; an iPod Touch 8GB, Portable CD player and iPod speakers; equipment hire including BBQ, crockery, cutlery, table linen; a loan of gazebo, chairs and tables (if required).
6. There are 16 prize packages during the promotional period 24.05.10 - 12.09.10. The entrants will be judged weekly and 1 prize is to be given away each week.
7. The first day of the promotion will be 24.05.10. All valid entries received by midnight on 30.05.10 will be entered into the first week's competition. All entries received on 31.05.10 until 06.06.10 will be entered into the next week's competition, and so on until the final competition day which closes at midnight 12.09.10. No entries will be carried forward into subsequent competitions.
8. All valid entries will be assessed and judged by an independent panel each week during the promotional period. A prize package will be awarded to the entry they judge to be the best entry. Recipes will be judged on the following criteria: creativity, innovation, taste appeal. The judging panel's decision will be final. No correspondence will be entered into.
9. Winners will be notified within 7 days after the decision of the judging panel by telephone. All reasonable attempts will be made to contact winners, but if this cannot be achieved within a further 28 days the prize the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize entitlement and award the prize to a reserve chosen at the same time as the original.
10. No cash or other prize alternatives are available, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control the Promoter reserves the right to substitute similar alternatives of equal or greater value.
11. Winners may be required to take part in publicity related to the promotion.
12. The names and counties of the Winners will be available upon request to those who write to: Hellmann's BBQ Promotion, Inferno, Palladium House, 1-4 Argyll Street, London W1F 7TA by 12.12.10 enclosing a stamped SAE
13. By entering the Promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have consented to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller for the purposes of the administration of this Promotion and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented.
14. As concerns UK residents, these terms and conditions shall be governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction. As concerns ROI residents, these terms and conditions shall be governed by the law of Ireland and the Irish courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction. All entry instructions form part of the rules.
