making Comet honour redemption certificate

we bought a digital tv in July 200 and took out the insurance with a money back policy at the end of the term.

the tv is now 5 years old in July and we have never received the redemption certificate although we followed the procedure to the letter.

any ideas how I can force Comet to honour thier obligation

Why are you asking NOW what to do about it? Why didn't you chase the redemption certificate non-arrival at the time, when it would have been a lot easier to do something about it?

With these kind of offers it is always best to use recorded delivery as when it comes to making a claim they usually deny ever receiving your application.

am sure there was something about this on watchdog notso long ago?

in the end the company paid out (cant remember if it was comet or not tho)

maybe u should check out the watchdog website or give them a call...
