Should I get a Loan or add to the Mortgage?

I have decided to invest in a new property abroad, but I will need an additional £30,000. The property investment is a join venture. Of the £30K, I will need 18K in the next three weeks and the rest (12K) in May 2007.
I owe £108K (Repayment Mortgage) on my House which is worth 265K.
Have have a spare £350 a month which I intend to pay off the £30,000 property investment as a basic. I may want to increase this amount in the future.
I don't whether to add the entire £30,000 to mortgage and then add the £350 a month extra to my mortgage repayment to even it out, or get a seperate loan for the £30K, or even do a mixture of both. Perhaps getting a loan for 18K until May 2007 and then adding what's left to the mortgage.
Any advice? (Thanks in advance)

I have decided to go with an unsecured fixed Loan for £16500 over 6-7 years, then add the remaining balance minus my savings to the mortgage next year.0
