Home made body and face products

Not sure if this one has been done before but I'm trying to cut down on the amount of skincare products I buy and also the rubbish I put inside and outside my body (it all gets absorbed so almost like you are ingesting it)....I'm forever seeing people who have developed skincare products on their kitchen tables and are now making loads of money from them. I always wonder how you start?
Not too bothered about making my fortune from it (but would be nice!) but would be interested in any good recipes....

There's a website called make-stuff.com.
Lots of other things on there as well as cosmetic/skin care recipes....it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

i make a great facial scrub by mixing soft brown sugar ~(i prefer this but u can use castor) and olive oil into a paste then using some water and washing my face with it, massaging well to remove dead skin cells, my face feels lovely and soft after!Member 1145 Sealed Pot Challenge No4
