DD1 has got a job at Glasgow Fort and needs to rent a house with easy public transport links. Any suggestions to suitable areas?
Handle every stressful situation like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it ....... just pee on it and walk away.

the fort is in easterhouse which is not the most salubrious area.
if she is young, then look and see what the links to dennistoun are like
since that is an area in the east end which is more desireable by the young.

She would be using public transport as she doesn't drive.

the fort is in a run down high drug use, high crime high unemployment area of glasgow called Easterhouse.

surrounding areas are bailieston, garrowhill, coatbridge, gartcosh.

there is a direct bus that runs from buchanan street bus station and takes half an hour max if she wants to live in town :)

  • Hi

For the parts of Carntyne that I know, it is really good. . It seems a good, clean area. I dont live there so dont know much about the neighbourhood.
  • Carntynes nice and quiet, Try to avoid streets like Rigby street and a few around there anywhere from marfield street upwards is lovely and there is new built flats on myreside street which look lovely but they are close to rigby street, Hope she finds somewhere nice :D
