Quick question re butter icing

silly question but i have made a batch of cakes for the girls lunch boxes and i was going to put butter icing in them will they be ok to be frozen with the icing in them?

Yes, you can freeze butter icing, but there will be some loss of texture. Try it and see if you think it's ok or not.0

i tend to freeze the icing seperately then put it on when defrosted as this seems to work better for meMember 1145 Sealed Pot Challenge No4
