why is it

On reading alot of threads on this board why is it that DMP are accepted in some cases and not in others and why some cases go to court and the creditors win and why other cases the debtor wins when most people I read about have kept paying there instalments as offered and not missed any payments is it a game of cat and mouse and are we led to believe that when in debt there is hope and help or is it just all hot air and we will all be hounded no matter what we try to do.

It's a difficult question, or it it two or three?

For one answer, all creditors make their own minds up about how they view any offer that are made to them, if it's less than the contractual minimum.

For the second, each court (and each judge) will view each case in its own merits. Bound to be a range of outcomes.

Thirdly, there is always a way forward. The hot air usually comes from the lenders and debt collectors. Once you realise that, it's a bit like swatting flies - a bit of a nuisance in the summer but part of life, and you just get on with it.

Yes Fatbelly I agree on all points but if your not trying to prove that an original agreement exists(did you spend the money anyway) or not paying anything full stop and going missing for 6 years.
having faced up to reality should the creditor give you a chance or treat you the same as the 2 scenarios above
