Leeds United replica strips

Calling all Leeds fans - went to the club store shop today and they were selling off adult replica tops for £10 and full junior strips both home and away for £5. Have noticed that the club web site has this as well https://www.lufc.com.

Don't know why it is so cheap, tried asking assistant in shop but they didn't know.

  • They're so cheap because LUFC are so desperate.
Just for one moment, thought I'd found my way.

Not as good as the cheap players we got from Leeds a few years ago (Bowyer, Woodgate). :D

April 2004's five year deal is turning into a one year deal. Leeds will get left with a warehouse full of Diadora kit unless they can get rid.

<YORKSHIRE POST 18 January 2005> United's head of commercial operations, David Thomson, said: "We have reviewed the market-place and for us to compete with the High Street stores we feel the price of the shirts has to come down and we are unable to do that under the terms of the Diadora deal.
"Shirt sales are down this season but that is only to be expected with the reduced attendances.
"But we are still the eighth highest ranked club in terms of sales with around 180,000 this season.
"Diadora were keen to continue with the deal but we felt it best to change."

No medium left in home shirts & the away top looks too much like a Man City shirt...
