There have been soooo many wonderful recipes flying around lately and if I don't make a note of it there and then I lose it!! There is a thread called the Recipe Board Thread http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=46777 and I wondered if people would be so kind as to post their recipes here
it makes it so much easier to find at a later date
I'm not saying don't post recipes in threads that call for them, but just to pop them in this central place too!!
I hope I haven't spoken out of turn and please BGs feel free to move/delete this as appropriate. Thank you!!

ummm, yes
if you click on the number in the corner of the post, that opens it up alone in another window, if you then go to the top (the bit where the www. is) you can right click and select copy, and then paste it where you need to!
Hope that makes sense!

I think it would be nice if the recipe board thread was made a sticky at the top of the board. That way it would always be visible, I've sometimes found it hard to find if someone hasn't added to it for a while.0

Hi purpleprincess,
I would also appreciate it if people were to link to their recipes rather than post them around the board as that way we can all find them much more easily and they will eventually get indexed. The board guides have repeatedly asked members to do this, but unfortunately only a few do.
Part of the problem may be, as Fay has demonstrated, that some people don't know how to link to the recipe thread. It might help those who don't, to look at Sra's A-Z where he has given detailed step by step instructions on how to insert links in posts.
Thriftlady, the recipe board thread used to be a sticky thread until we were given our own space in the blue bar at the top of the board. If you check there, in the Indexed collections, there are options to read the recipe index, browse the thread from the start, or add your own recipe. I know a sticky might be more obvious, but Martin has asked us to keep a maximum of five stickies. Old Style already has five and when we add the two challenges at the end of every month it goes up to seven, so putting another one up isn't really an option. Sorry.
I hope this helps.

PinkI like your idea of posting a recipe in the Recipe Board Thread and then posting a link to that recipe where it's needed.
