Hi all, I don't think this has been posted yet and you may not think this is a bargain but thought i would let you know anyway...
Disney store are selling the large size buzz lightyears for £20 at the mo. I have been looking everywhere for one for my son and could only see them for around £50 everywhere else so thought this was pretty good.
He loves it and takes it everywhere with him lol!

This is a different version to the £50 one, which the Disney store are also selling. I was looking at them both yesterday, still looks great for £20!0 -
They are good value - but they are not the same as the £50 ones. The £50 one is the Deluxe buzz, which has the pop out wings, is interactive, and speaks far too much (went to the seaside last week and the kids had the delux Woody and the delux Buzz in the back of the car - and they didn't shut up all the way there - the Buzz and Woody, that is not the kids!)
Then there is the £40 Buzz which has the jetpack thing on the back. The kids like this one (got all 3 on the 3 for 2 at Argos), but personally I think that the Deluxe buzz is better. One thing to mention though - the paint was wearing off both of these within 2 days - even when played with carefully.
Personally, unless the kids are nagging for a particular one, I would go with the one that the OP mentions at £20. The other ones I feel aren't really worth double the price. We got the £20 Jessie from Disney Store - seems good, but it has been put away for Christmas, so it hasn't really been used yet.0 -
I so want the £20 Buzz - the Disney Store 'cast member' demoed it for me and it speaks Spanish!

Biting is excellent. It's like kissing, only there's a winner.0 -
Thank you so much for this - must have been fate. My DS wanted a big Woody and Buzz for his birthday in 4 weeks and I have just ordered the deluxe Buzz from play for £37.97 and called them today as order hadn't progressed and they said they werent expecting stock for 6-8weeks and gave me choice to cancel. Then I spotted his and now he can have both Woody and Buzz for same price as just Buzz. He just wanted them to be big and be able to talk which both of these do - so a big thanks from us OP and others.x0

Just been having a look at these to compare with other variations. Are these Disney Store exclusive? I've seen the deluxe Buzz at around the £50 mark but came across these in Tesco

Had an e-mail from Smyths toys that they have the deluxe Buzz reduced from £50 down to £37.49

The Woody & Jessie dolls @ Tesco are exactly the same as the ones in Disney store for £20.
They are quite big and really good value for the money.
The Buzz that Disney store have on sale for £20 is exclusive to them. It has removable wings and says 28 different phrases. Slightly smaller than the Deluxe version, but looks exactly the same imo. Disney store sell these also.
I bought the £20 Buzz Lightyear for my daughter for Christmas. She's Buzz mad.
Wanted to get her all 3 but had to stop myself. Managed to get her a Timmy Time Nursery house playset & Silver cross dolls pram delivered from Entertainer for the £40 I saved from not buying Woody & Jessie.
I think they were more of a bargain (imo)
