  • Despite saying £0.00 in the little ad for the batteries, when you get to the checkout it's charging the full £7.63.

It doesn't say it's free, it says you get the cost price back as cashback so you need to complete a cashback request:

I take it that the cashback form must stay up for some time as the estimated delivery time is September.

this offer was posted by someone else earlier... by the looks of it you are only able to claim cashback for one item.

There are seperate terms and conditions for the free delivery and for the cashback scheme... i would suggest you read both before spending any pennies!

The t&c link didn't work for me at the time. It seems that they send you an invoice, then ask you to return it as proof you have bought the product! Why go to all this trouble if they really intend returning the full purchase price? And why would they do this anyway?
If an offer looks too good to be true......

  • You will be sent a 4th email that has the invoice attached as a pdf file.
Print it out, and post it to them along with a copy of the claim form.

Do not wait for the item to arrive before posting, or the claim period will expire and you won't get the cashback.

Anyone had their Cashback validated yet ?

    If I go to https://www.cashbackstatus.co.uk

and enter my Misco account number and the relevant order number (I had the USB key)

I can see my claim went in on 23rd August, was received on 25th August - it is for the correct value of £4.69.

I has a STATUS of PENDING PAYMENT

but claims processed still = 0

and it says DAYS REMAINING FOR VALIDATED CLAIM PAYMENT = 2 days
