hi has anyone had any experience of this dca, any good or bad experiences are welcome, as they have a debt of mine. I want to have some prior info about them, before I start dealing with them properly.

Hi Looneylamb,
I've no specific dealings with this dca, but would advise always to contact dcas in writing only, as they can be abusive and try to bully people into paying more than they can afford. If you put their name into the search box at the top of the page and then scroll down to forum (the box to the right), you'll get plenty of information from other forum users who've had dealings with them.If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

If you treat them all like they're devious, slippery scumbags you're on the right lines. I've dealt with them only briefly, I have to say I didn't find them too bad as DCA's go however that said this means absolutly nothing, they could be totally different with you.
Better than knowing the individual DCA is to know the collective rules that govern the DCA's, then when they breach them you know they're trying to take you for a ride. Just because they didn't with me (they gave up on me quite quickly) doesn't mean they wont with you. The rules can be found on the OFT website as a .pdf called "OFT guidance for debt collection" or similar.I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)
As of the last count I have cleared [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt.

they phone constantly until you write to them explaining your predicament/payment offer and within a week they will send you a payment card with a letter confirming ur payment offer. In general on the phone they were fine. I set up a weekly plan and then lost that job. there was only 1 staff member that refused my offer saying the minimum payment they accept is £10 a month and she then hung up! when i phoned back i spoke to a lovely lady who said the payment was fine.
I found they were fine as long as u updated them.0 -

Hi LL,
Only word of warning I do have is that they are in bed with Bryan Carter Solicitors, he is scum and will get a CCJ issued against an old address and then once granted because you have not received the court paperwork suddenly finds you at your present address, keep an eye on your credit file if you can.
If this does happen, you can get the CCJ set aside (costs £75).
Best wishes
