Avon Arabian Glow Powder

Hi, just an update on this. My order came yesterday and I must admit I am surprised by how good this powder is. It only cost me £4 in the sale but the initial price is only £7. My Clinique bronzer is £20, it does last a long time but still a lot for the initial layout and I actually think this Avon one is better.

At first I looked at it and it looked dark in the pan and I thought that it would make me look too brown or orange but I put a bit on with the sponge pad that comes with it this morning and just rubbed it into my face and it gives a nice even glow. I don’t think I need to bother with foundation anymore.

Thumbs up J

Do you mind if I ask what your 'original' colour is? :)

Cos I'm pale skinned and wondering whether they would make me look like I'm auditioning for a bollywood film :) sorry if it's too personal - I recently bought the lighter version of these and quite like it but I'm wondering whether the arabian ones would give me a healthier glow - the others just cover up rather than lifting IYSWIM :)

Hi thats OK, just wondered. It does seem dark in the pan but its not dark when you put it on, you have to apply it sparingly though and rub it in well.

It IS good and really good value. I use 2 items from the Avon range - this and the Visual Perfection Tinted Foundation (SPF55)

Hi, do you have the shimmering bronze shade, this is the darker one I think.
