This is a problem with apple devices.
Go to settings
Then Keyboards
Then turn smart keyboard off.
That will sort out the problem with apostrophes and no more random numbers.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. Thanks Enthusiastic saver, all sorted now.
Well life is pretty good at the min, I can't believe the difference in a month. I can't wait for pay day to put some savings away. This is a huge change for me and hubby.
I've been so careful. The trips to the co-op, or lack of them, have made such a difference.
Paperwork sort today. I feel a lot more in control of everything. At the minute the table is full of paperwork. I'm having a break for lunch.
Thanks to everyone that is reading, I'd love your input.
The sun is shining too.....fabulous x0 -

Thanks Greent. I'm going to have a look at your diary. Can't believe your mortgage is completely gone.Any of your best tips would be appreciated.
Had leftovers for tea. DH and 3 DD's were impressed thankfully.
Spent 4 hours sorting paperwork.
DH was a star and shredded it for me,
I'm feeling much more in control.

Hey Rose, welcome back
My biggest tip is to do what's called 'tilly tidying' (named after a clever person posting on these boards): essentially you round things down for your overpayments.
So for us, we regularly check our joint acct and if we have a balance I'd say £302.50 we overpay the 50p or the £2.50(dependent on what we know is still to come out of the account).
Other people do it so that their mortgage balance always ends in 0. So if it's £123,456.35 they would OP the £6.35.
It's only small incremental payments but they all do add up! I also do survey sites to earn a bit more but can be lazy on them- it does take a bit of effort.
Well done on staying out of the coop for your top-up shops! I nipped to Tesco for milk yesterday and left with a bag full having spent £10.65....and almost forgot to get the actual milkso it's not just you!
First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
New forever home- Sep’21 £309,449 @ 2.05%. Plan to clear it before 30 years!!!!!!0
