Today was phone top up day - so I spent £5 on my sons (has to last him two weeks) and I have halved my usual £10 a fortnight to a £5 top up.
I walked to work and got the bus back (it was tiddling down).
So today I have spent a total of £11.50
I go away tomorrow with the girls for a long weekend- really looking forward to it - but its gonna blow a hole in my pocket

Ask the Ebayer who you sent the item to to make up the deficit - they will either pay up a they are a good honest citizen OR they will say "no".
Either way its the possibility of getting some of your hard earned cash back is only a free email way.
Good Luck xx0 -
2nd no spend day in a row!
Yay!
scottishspendaholic xMBNA = £4,000 / Next = £925 (approx. tbc on 19/8)
Tesco = £2,910.11 / Smile overdraft = £500
Bank of Scotland = £2,782.830 -
Nothing.
And went to Robbie last night and only spent £9 (given the price of food, I'm pleased with myself). Then again, I nearly spent nothing - trying to explain to the bar that I had no ID because I was 25 and therefore didnt always carry it with me was a challenge (I even had a 39 year old friend with me, she was chuffed!)0 -

Had yesterday off work for a Hospital appointment, which cost £5 in hospital car parking. Absolutely extortionate  That's all i've spent this week then!
I found 20p in my pocket which i picked up off our sofa after friends visited at weekend, so went to M&S enroute of bank and brought a brown roll (29p). Then found 2p in M&S on escalator, so the roll cost me 7p!. That's what I like.0 -
hiya everyone
hope you dont mind a newbie joining in!
ive not spent any money today and wont do! i didnt spend any yesterday! at the weekend, i needed a few bits and pieces and my mum paid for them! so to pay her back if you will, i rented a film for 3.75 and thats all i spent! not bad a!
saying that i feel like a cheat as most days are no spend days. i dont smoke or buy mags anymore. i walk to and from work and always bring in a lunch. so unless im doing a food shop or paying a bill by DD, im normally very good (this has been since my light bulb moment of course! this was 2 weeks ago! before then i was always buying off ebay and amazon, with a take away a week!)
hope everyones doing well!
