tip for free sponge pan scourers

Options
I made a pan scourer at the weekend and thought I'd share my tip with you guys.

I kept all my old onion/orange/satsuma bags (you know the nylon net ones?) knotted them together and knit it up into a square. Its really great for cleaning pans, virtually indestructible and free! Also environmentally friendly too. I'll never buy the sponge ones again now :)

  • Hey what a great idea ....good excuse to buy loads of satsumas and oranges to make the kids eat 'em cos i want the bags :D
  • These are also very good for cleaning Non stick pans as they do not scratch

(this is not guaranteed so don't sue me, always try on an 'inconspicuous area first' ...blah, blah, but you know I'm right, I don't want to be blamed for anything that may go wrong)
