I think if you're looking for autumn/ winter tops, you'll probably find your favourite places will have more choice in another month or so, once they've given up the ghost trying to flog us the last of the summer ranges!

For the transition to winter why not buy a couple of colourful cardies (Primark) paired with their smart slim fitting plain tee shirts (£2 each I think) to get you through the Autumn? We might just have a heatwave in September (lives in hope!)

Debenhams? M&S? Apart from that, nothing else to suggest that hasn't already been suggested.

I live in silk shirts from charity shops.

  • I've seen some nice looking work wear in Miss Selfridge - online. I have not idea of the quality, but the price is similar to Dorothy P

I use charity shops for work clothes. The ones round us tend to have a lot of next, M&S etc. I use the ones near work and visit every couple of lunch times to get some bargains. I'm currently wearing a lovely black next skirt purchased last week for £4.
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x
