    It's not recommended to tell the companies you're struggling and ask them to reduce interest. It's stupid and illogical but they tend to just put the interest up in those circumstances.

    ETA: if the op's in London I can't see there's any chance he'll find anywhere for less than he's paying for the mortgage, my sister's moving there in a couple of weeks and even studio flats were at least £550.

    Amount left after debt repayments....... 402 I suspect this is untrue. Keep a spending diary and look at old bank statements.....the management fees on my property are in arears, I pay 100 pcm to them and 50 to my overdraft too...not account for in soa's

    Your SOA has to include all your regular monthly payments and since your management fees are not optional, you really do need to go back and add them in.

    You also need to do a spending diary so you know exectly where that £250 is going. Why is that n9ot being used to pay off your debt.

    We need you to post up details of your debts - APRS for all of them, plus the limits on the cards and the life of the loan.
