can i claim back hsbc charges

hello,we bought a computer on credit about 9 years ago for an aprox total of £1,250 and was paying so much a month...after a few years we phoned up to confirm that this was our last payment and was told that we still owed aprox £1100...they told us that it was either because the first payment we made was £35 instead of £50 or that we missed or paid the first payment late{ i can,t remember which}..we had a shock ...we paid the total debt back that we was meant to yet still owed near the same sum again..they kept adding interest on so we let it go to court ,they took the money each week from boyfriends wages ,we have just finished paying the £1100 owed last month..can we claim the £1100 back or am i just getting confused with bank charges that you can claim back..thankyou

So what you paid 1250 for a PC

paid all that off, and then finally had to pay a further 1100 in charges for late payments?

if thats the case then a resounding YES.
