Hair dye fading problem

I've got long naturally dark brown hair that tends to lighten at the ends in the sun.

I bought a medium chocolate brown permanent hair colour to try and get it back to all one colour. I quite liked the colour but unfortunately it was a little too light and lightened my hair all over so I started finding roots growing through.

I then went for a darkest brown permanent colour which worked a treat to start with but after about 2 months my hair has faded and once again I have roots showing:mad:

I just want my natural hair colour back!! Can anyone suggest a hair dye that will work for me?

  • Best option is not to dye it.

    OR

Go to a hairdressers and ask them to match your roots to a hairdye and do it that way :D

2 months is a long time to have the colour without it fading. I have to redo mine every 3-4 weeks even thought the colour I use is permanent. I used lots of different brands too, but always end up with the same result
