That ebay watch is pretty and would go with my dress, but I may see if anyone has one I can borrow, which would be my 'something borrowed'. Hmm not sure though.Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0

i have decided on bracelet to cover tan line of watch strap, and wearing ring on other hand then putting it back on left hand after ceremony. I dont want to leave it anywhere or with anyone, i would be devestated if anything happened to it, and i want it to be on with my wedding ring immediately after being married because i want the pics with both of them on.getting married: 02/10/10

I never wear a watch thankfully but maybe get a nice shiny watch for the wedding if you have tanlines or will feel odd without one.
And with the engagement ring I had never even thought about it! All I know is after the wedding my engagement ring has to be on top it would look odd underneath. I think I will just end up putting it on the other hand till we are married.Getting married Wednesday 24th August 2011!

I wore mine on my right hand, once the wedding ring was on, I had a fiddle and moved it across to my left hand straight away.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100/100miles

How scary, was about to post about this! Never thought of wearing my bracelet on the watch wrist for once! Good thinking! My OH and I have bought each other special bracelets (magnetic ones) as a wedding gift to each other so that would be really nice to do! My watch is a sports watch and although it is silver it is rather chunky plus I wear it with the face in as I am weird like that so it does look like a mans bracelet! Engagement ring will have to find itself a home for an hour - my MoH is the same ring size so she may be given another job to do!0

My ILTBs bought me a lovely watch for my thirtieth, that matches the jewelry i bought for the wedding, i couldn't be without a watch it'd feel weird, i was going to borrow one from MILTB now i don't have to but i do now need something old and something borrowed....
I don't wear my engagement ring (long story) so that is a non issue for me.0 -
I wont wear a watch but my engagement ring will be on right hand. I did that at my first wedding and just as I was going into church I had a momentary panic as I was ringless on my left hand!0

my ring doesnt fit on my right hand lol, so think will have to give it to my chief bridesmaid, as well as my bouquet, so will get it back when signing the registerIs a married woman!! 23rd July 2011 Best day of my life!

I never wear a watch but I am planning on wearing my dad's watch as my something old - he's passed away, so feel like part of him is with me. It's a bracelet style (which I wear with the face in - so you're not weird missnixon), but thinking of maybe wearing a thin bracelet on either side so it's not mega noticable IYSWIM.0

I wore my ring on my right hand.
I decided against a watch, it just didn't match everything else although if it was prettier I would've worn it! xBump due 22nd September0
