What Next

Hello Everybody.

wonder if somebody can help.

When all the fuss kicked off about reclaiming bank charges I promptly submitted my complaint letter to HSBC asking for nearly £3000 back.

this obviously was put on hold pending the court case and then consequentially close without payment. :-(

I left it at that. Now looking through the templates on this website i have discovered that i could of appealed under the hardship rule, however it's too late now.

Recently i thought i would try my luck with the finanical ombusman, however becuase my complain was closed with HSBC they couldn't do anything and forwarded my letter onto HSBC, who have replied back saying that they will not look into my case again.

Because there is so much money (well to me) here i would really like some of this back. What other options are available to me? and out of those, what is the most likely method on me getting my money back?

thanks in advance. hope i get the replies i'm hoping for but suspect not :-(

Unfortunately the only successes in reclaiming bank charges at the moment are those who have gone down the financial hardship route, and this is by no means guaranteed. There are some links to this in the reclaiming forum but the criteria is quite strict.
