I used to enter these with no prob. I'd login, enter the ans and click submit. A checkmark would appear next to the comp and I couldn't enter again. Now when I click submit, there is no checkmark, the ans block is cleared and i can enter again. Does this mean the ans is wrong? using ff 4

hi, i don't think you could do that,
when you log in, if you've entered the comp before it
isn't able to be entered again :)
the box disappears & a tick goes in it's place :)
& i don't think anyone of the posters on this thread who contribute the answers have ever given a wrong answer to the best of our knowledge, we spend a lot of time
working out the puzzles to hopefully get the correct answers for everyone :)
    hthx

ps: if you click the thanks button on the posts it's a way of keeping check on the comps you've entered in the thread so you would know if you have done them before xx

Thanks ff. Everything worked for me just as you say until yesterday. Now I long in, there is no check mark, i enter the ans, click submitt and instead of a checkmark, the ans box is cleared. It's as if I'm being taken back to the start. Any ideas? BTW I've tried copy/paste and manual entry

What browser are you using? I am using FF5 and have to disable adblock plus on the puzzler site to make it display properly.

I think that's because that comp expired on July 28th.
