I have had this a few times, I usually just press refresh a couple of times or sometimes I need to log out then back in again, then it works fine:)

Why is everyone so apologetic for commenting on threads? im assuming thats's "bumping" jeez oh, its an internet forum!! its more il mannerly to ignore people when they give you information!

because there is no need to bump the thread just to thank people there is a thanks button for this prupose.If you really feel the need to thank someone for posting the answers can i suggest send them a PM instead of bumping it after 2 or 3 days?

hi ffaf85 if you follow the mag postings for reg issue numbers/mag titles it just makes it a bit more awkward to scroll through/find the latest comps that have been posted if there's 'chat' bumping in between the issues numbers also it hinders the comp/reg posters searching for thier last posted comp,
you can subscribe to the thread to get the latest comp posts but then you get email notifications & think that a new comp has been posted when, in fact it's just someone 'bumping' in between with something,
unless it's directly involved/a problem with a comp/ MSE rules asks nicely that we don't bump or comment unless it's necessary to the comp
personally i think it's lovely when someone posts to say they appreciate the ops on here as they all go out thier way to buy the mags/take the time to do the puzzles etc but we're all supposed to just press the 'thanks' button
though i must say also it does make the thread a bit more awkward
to scroll through if everyone did keep bumping
