Regularly updated puzzler.com competitions (Part 3)

The puzzler.com site is not working properly for me

There are a number of things you can try to ensure our site works on your computer.

Compatible browsers

Make sure you are working on an up-to-date browser. Our website works on Internet
Explorer 7.0 and above, Firefox 3.0 and above, Safari 3.0 and above, and Google Chrome
2.0 and above.

Enable pop-ups

enable pop-up windows for https://www.puzzler.com in Internet Explorer: Tools menu, Pop-up
blocker, Pop-up blocker settings. Type https://www.puzzler.com in the Address of Web site to allow

Add-ons

The website may not work with certain Add-ons, in particular, Google Toolbar, unless the
Toolbar is tuned accordingly. It is possible to disable specific Add-ons. To disable add-ons in
Internet Explorer, Tools > Manage Addons - Enable or disable addons
Empty your browser’s cache. Close your browser and restart. If you still have trouble, please

I get the same in FF, I've twiddled all the bits Korky listed but it still fails.
I just open it in Chrome and it's all ok.

Thank you Korky for your reply, tried it all, all failed, so thank you to Soosieboo for suggesting chrome it seems to work there without any tweaking. Thank you both very much!

a drop down list will display
A to Z index ... <<< click on
Mixed
Crossword
Wordsearch
etc...
once you've clicked on the A-Z
on your right hand side a new box will open
with all the magazine listings,
scroll down until you find the comp the op has posted
ie: this one is..

C for Chat Crosswords

then go to the topbar with
"Description" "Competitions" "Winners"...
click on Competitions
and the comp will be displayed for you to enter.

I had this problem about a month ago and it was Adblock Plus that was causing the problem. Disable it before going to Puzzler.com and the site works properly.

agreeing with this, i had to disable adblock on the puzzler site in order for it to work in firefox. since then no problems at all.

the fact that your only having the issue in firefox means its quite likley its an addon/extension causing the problem, so check what you have in there and if not adblock or adblock plus (seriously reccomend btw) then maybe another adblocker/script blocker?
