Apologies if this thread is in the wrong place!!
I am thinking of buying a domain name from godaddy . com who are charging £9.61 for 3 domain names. I have searched in their t&c but can't find out how long I own the domain name for and if the charges increase after the 1st year etc etc.
If anyone can give me some advice on how long I would own and if the charges will go right up I would be most grateful!!!! (I am a little confused by it all!)

It cost me £12.90 to register a co.uk domain name with them for 2 years. That included 1 email address with 1 gb of space.0

Generally speaking, if somebody asked me if they should buy from GoDaddy I'd say "yeah, do it". It's a solid firm, good prices ... and the time you waste pontificating over whether any other company might be better or not, isn't worth the few pence you may/may not save for all that worry/decision-making etc.
Personally, I use 1and1.co.uk to register my domains, but I use other companies for hosting. I use 1and1 because I can log in in about 10 seconds flat and buy another domain name in 20 seconds... job done, then I pop in about 3 hours later and point it at my hosting. But that's just me
All you need is a good name and you'll be fine.... GoDaddy is a good name.
OK, there's more to it than that, but your question seemed to be based on them/not and price.
As for how long you own the domain for - it depends what the domain is (.com? .co.uk?). Also, check if they're auto-renewing or not. If you plan to ditch it after a year or two it can be annoying if it auto-renews. On the other hand, it can be annoying if you forget/don't get round to it ... and it disappears and it's a week before you realise.0
