Of having to chase wins?

We all put a LOT of effort into entering competitions, and generating traffic etc (leading to extra revenue) for websites, only to never receive the prizes that they have promised.

I won £250 of clothing from an online store back in May and then a swimwear competition in June and still have NOTHING! I put a lot of effort into responding to the ladies for the swimwear as they wanted to see pictures/know what I liked etc so they could put some suggestions together for me and I have heard nothing since - my last holiday of the year is in 3 weeks, so whatever swimwear I get I now won't even be able to wear for ages.

Sorry for the rant, it just annoys me....

Funnily enough I've just been busy chasing up a win from April :eek: Most competition promoters and PR companies do seem to be very reliable and well organised thankfully, but it is a little annoying when you do get the odd one occasionally where you have to chase it up again and again... Hope you get it sorted soon. Hang in there! x

God, I know how you feel. I'm STILL chasing my £50 Visa Card win from March! After months and months of phone calls, they finally phoned me back last week (that was a first!) to say my Card would definitley be with me by the end of the week. Guess what? It wasn't. Here we go again ... !

I think this is getting worse or maybe I am having an unlucky year - but have put a ton of effort into chasing a 42" telly win from May. Latest is that it will be with me on Friday...

It sort of takes the gloss off the win when you have to nag and nag for it - good luck with chasing yours.

I agree about Facebook, I won the Brighton Fashion Week £200 Warehouse vouchers, after they sent me winning e-mail I heard nothing for ages and started to get panicked as they posted on their website thanks and goodbye kind of thing. I googled and found they had put me as the winner on their facebook page, when I posted a message on their wall I got a v quick PM promising to sort it all out and emails back and forth. Got my vouchers and spent them last week:j
