£28 offIomega hard drive at Misco

I just got an e-mail from Paypal saying that until 15th September if you use Paypal you can save £28 on an Iomega Prestige 1TB Hard Drive -

- I don't know the product but it's got to be worth a look?

That seems way overpriced. I got the same product nearly 2 years ago in store for 69.99, and prices have come down a lot since. You can get an internal 1TB disk for as little as 40 pounds, and an external one for just under 50.

Thanks for that OP - I am just trying to order one - but I can't find the offer on Paypal. Have they sent you an offer code - ie MISCO code.......

If so, I would be really grateful if you could PM me the code - thank you.
  • I just checked the Paypal e-mail and there was no discount code for this offer - there were also offers at Boots, Superdry and Karen Millen which did have discount codes which I've posted over in the Discount Codes section of the forum but this one didn't have one. Sorry!

If it had worked, it would have only been £57. There are Buffalo 1TB drives at Zavvi for £50ish, I'd suggest these as an alternative, but I haven't looked at their reliability. However Buffalo are a pretty well-known brand, and although not as stylish, it doesn't look too bad.

Looking at the size of this HDD, it's a portable one (not the chunky desktop one and no mains power supply too,) and I'd say it's actually a good price. I don't think there's any £50ish 1TB portable HDD on the market thought, is there?

Can OP share the code? I'm very interested in buying the HDD but can't find any paypal discount code that gives £28 off?
