Fitted Braces

I am thnking about getting a fitted brace perhaps just on the top only as the bottom teeth arn't too bad. I have previously had one when younger but didn't like wearing my retainer etc and having to take it out for lunch. So this is for cosmetic purposes now i guess.
I was wondering roughly how much they are and if all check ups are included. (if yours was free or whatever then please don't reply) Im looking at an average cost. I go to an NHS dentist but I think they do private work im not sure.
Any help would be great, im not too fussed if the brace is clear or you can see it depends on the price, my last brace i only had on for 10 months so i don't think my case is too bad.

Your dentist will need to refer you to an orthodontist and cost will be £1500 to £3000 ish including all appointments. Initial assessment is normally £80 to £150 ish. Treatment normally is over 18 months. Adults very very very rarely qualify for NHS orthodontics.
A word of warning , latest thinking is that teeth have to be retained for a very long time , possibly life, to stay in the right place.0
