advice

hello,

I have applied for a property through a rental agency, I have declared my ccj's to them. I have a high income and also am entering into a flat share with one other.
The landlord has agreed this is ok, however they are still undertaking a credit check, is this the norm?

I am so worried that I will lose the money and I will stay homeless I havent been able to sleep, can they do this?

Yes , they can , a cynical mind (ie mine) would think if the property you are interested in has lots of interest , then the LA may well take that non reundable fee and decline you anyway...

The LL can say its fine all they want , but the LA is the one they are paying to vet the potential tenants

You were honest and up front , thats all you can do
    Good luck
