I'm in a bit of a strange sitiuation, so I've managed to pay £1500 off of the loan today. I lost my nan a couple of weeks ago. The money to pay for her funeral is in a savings account which we only have a cash card for (not a debit card), so we can only withdraw £300 a day. For this reason I've paid for it on a credit card I've got which is 0% for 10 months, and am going to slowly withdraw the cash to pay it off.
I've decided that rather than pay the cash off of a 0% card, it makes more sense to pay it off of the loan to save the interest, and then pay the 0% card off (before the 0% runs out which won't be a problem). For this reason I'll pay off the loan then challenge myself to pay off the CC within the 100 days we've got.
My nan was a lovely generous person who would do anything for us, and I'm sure she'd be happy to know that even in death she's still helping me.
Bearing this in mind, my figures are:
£1500 paid ~£2449.43 remaining
Finally bought a homeStarting mortgage £289,500 31.01.19 - Current outstanding £192,586.98/CENTER]Overpayments since 27.03.19: £52,407.470 -
