Interesting point and one it would be good to test out. Our demography is changing rapidly. For example, we have increasing numbers of graduates who cannot find jobs at all, except perhaps unskilled jobs, which is bound to change our perception of 'professional'.
If the govt is successful in getting swathes of benefit claimants back into work (big 'if', ok!) the overall picture of the workforce will again change to reflect that.0 -
