Help finding a good bicycle for £200 max please, any advice???

I am on the look out for a good bicycle for £200 MAX and what with summer rapidly drawing to an end I am hoping there will be some great offers kicking about.
I broke my last bike a couple of years ago by riding it too hard I think, so I need something sturdy, I would like something that is hopefully gonna last me a good few years, I want to cycle for fitness and lose a bit of weight, cycling approx an hour a day on roads but sometimes for longer on cycle tracks and occasionally bumpy paths and trails in the countryside so what bike do I want? a road bike or a mountain bike or a hybrid? and what kind of tyres?
Has anyone seen any deals or Can anybody suggest a great bike or tell me where there may be a really good bike buyers guide. I am 5' 9" and about 12.5 stone (overweight I know but hoping to do something about this very soon).
Thanks a lot for any help anyone can give!

This one is £200 including delivery and gets good reviews although I would guess your size is sold out.

This bike is £200 including delivery but is more suited to roads than trails etc.
