Deliberate spelling mistake, you learn one way before the other you would never accidentally use Reed.

Take it from someone who knows, you may accidentally use "read" when you mean "reed" but not visa versa IMHO.

It could be worth a bulrush though

    Pretty poor this. & offensive.

In my experience, the vast majority of dyslexics are actually able to spell the word, as they are so used to having to correct people (the irony) & explain dyslexia to them.
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

It's just a stab bud, proof the user is someone we know though. :)

Don't bet on it. I am Dad to one of them and, to be honest, she doesn't give a $h!t what other people think. ;)

Edit: Have to partially eat my words. She spelled it right :o, but also said that might not happen tomorrow! She is in a conformist mood today.

Everytime these Rightmove reports come up I always read the same thing here about it 'only being asking price, not real price, blah blah'.

But I say this: If asking price is down, then real price is also going to be down, because no one ever pays OVER the asking price (especially not in this market!). So really, the sold prices will be even lower than these asking prices are (in most cases), because no one ever pays the price asked for.

Simple thing to add in yes not all people pay asking prices. But in 2008 people were paying far below asking price, that narrowed in 2009.

Would you rather buy a :

£200K asking price house with a offer 20% below
Or it to be reduced to
£190K and have an offer accepted 10% below.

Sale prices are the only real way of tracking house prices asking price ignores discount like you said.

So you're agreeing with what I said or disagreeing? I am making the assumption that what you would knock off the asking price would be the same in any scenario (of course it is not, it is whatever the seller will agree to).

In (theoretical) answer to your question, I would rather have the house on offer on Rightmove for 190k, and try for whatever discount I could get (it would not necesarily be that it only fetches a 10% rather than 20% discount just because the asking price was reduced).
I would rather the sellers put more realistic prices, so that they appeared in my search and I could consider them as being within my budget. This is positive for the seller, as more people will be marketed their property, and to the buyer, because they may find the property of their dreams.

I am saying you can have falling asking prices and rising sales prices and visa versa.

The only way of knowing HPI is through sold prices, I will say that no matter if rightmove goes up or down.
Right move is non seasonally adjusted raw data, (so can be skewed by more higher or lower value houses coming on the market)

It is very hard to derive what a house will sell/sold for based on the price it was marketed at.
