He doesn't have a problem with me on forums, although the first MSE Parent Thread meet I went to he thought it was strange and I had to phone him to tell him I was OK and not abducted lol

Not as long as you're careful and don't post personal information - never forget there are some strange people out there!
For example there are regular warnings for ladies posting pics or details of their invitations to delete all the personal information because it has been known for some very strange people to try to sabotage their day just for kicks!
That's why everything is generalised and we all have user names. xx

OMG how horrendous of people to try and sabotage the most important day of someone's life :mad:

But yes i agree we all seem to generalise our wedding details, and financial situations on the MSE boards, i suppose we are all just using common sense :o

Sometimes i am a bit niave to totally forget there are idiots around in cyberspace

My H2B does know about my addiction to the forum but he's got no interest in reading what I post. He actually watched over my shoulder this morning to read what I was typing and got bored and walked off, it's all 'girly nonsense'! As long as I'm waffling on here about flowers and dresses and what-have-you I'm not talking to him about it so he's happy! It's a good job that he's not interested in reading it all as I've posted my dress loads of times!
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

  • I meant the amount of info shared as in the more emotional info etc... For instance I have posted about my dress wobbles, my family annoyances and my mother being a nightmare on the day... I don't think any of my friends have been privvy to that much information!

I don't think that my H2B knows as we live so far apart at the mo! When I am 'home' so to speak I only go on when he is at work as our time together is so precious - and since there are quite a few things I am keeping a secret from him about the wedding I am always careful to delete my username so that he can't see it and go on and check out what I have been telling you all should he happen to come onto the website!!! lol
