Please help me resist temptation!!

I'm really fed up of my 2 and 3 seater sofas.
But there's nowt really wrong with it.
I bought it off EBay about 4 years ago.
An elederly lady had bought it from M&S and then changed her mind.
It's fab really, I only paid £120.00 for it, then last year paid £120 for new seat pads.
I haven't had a brand new suite but I've really got the call for a new Chesterfield - over a grand they are.....
I keep justifying it in my mind, it's about time I allowed myself brand new blah de blah.
But the bathroom floor needs replacing with non-slip, hubby has seizures and we need to try and get safety stuff for him too...
Oh, life is boring, I want some nice stuff....

We owe about £46,000 on the mortgage, no debts otherwise.

Don't do it!;) Refresh the sofa with a throw and some new cushions - theres some lovely cheapish ones in the Sainsburys sale, for example http://www.sainsburys.co.uk/sol/shop/home_and_garden/bedroom/114457914_different_by_design_mink_velvet_banded_cushion.html?hnav=4294960595. After all, you don't see what the sofa actually looks like when you are sitting on it!:D

Maybe a new sofa as an incentive when the mortgage is gone...?!:T

Yeah don't do it, think of how much interest you would save if you put the £1000 towards your mortgage!

Thanks everyone, you're right is boredom :o

I'm going to buy some wool and knit a jumper, that'll keep my mind of things, Saturday nights when the X Factor is on I'll be knitting away to my heart's content watching it, while munching Minstrels
