I cant really offer an opinion because as an adviser, an opinion from me can mean advice and I am not in a position to give advice. Plus we dont know enough about them or what terms the new one is going to be on.
I would say that a unit linked pension invested with sector allocation as described should offer greater potential for growth over the term than a with profits fund. I think the best thing at this stage is to wait to see what the figures are. The IFA you are using should do a TVAS on them to see how they stack up in charges against the CM as well as reviewing and comparing funds.
