Good morning everyone!
I would just like to ask for some advice on benefits as I have never claimed any and know very little about them. Could you help me out with my question? Many years ago (about 20)I had a back injury due in part to a work mate opening a swing door the opposite way to normal and I sustained a heavy knock on my lower back and 2 prolapsed discs in later months whilst I was doing cleaning in my job. I think both things were related because I had a persistant ache in my lower back for months after the door episode. Both things happened in work, but they were just accidents. After continueing to work for months and things not getting better and me being by now quite poorly I was sent for Xray. After, I was told by a consultant that I had a serious degenerative injury. Anyway I have always carried on working full time in a couple of different jobs, but I have now started another job part time and I would like to work more hours, but I have found in the past year that I have started to get tired more quickly and I have also suffered a couple of weeks of back and leg , and hip pain every few weeks, and kneck pain as well! Would I be entitled to any extra help now that I find that I can't do so many hours, and if so would any help be means tested. I would be grateful for any help you could give me.

Go to https://www.entitledto.com and have a look - it lists all the benefits there, I think.
In particular - is your mobility affected? Should you be considering DLA?Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0
