in It's gone, but was it any good?
Been watching prices of these for a couple of months but keep missing the really good prices

I picked one up instore at Sainsburys today half price at £48.94
This was Ipswich and they had 3 others on the shelf
"I am an insomniac, so I was really excited when I was able to get a full night's sleep. I said to a friend, 'Just keep your fingers crossed that I get lucky again tonight!' Realizing what I said, I tried to correct it and said, 'No, I mean, I just hope that I get some tonight!' After that, I decided to shut up."

    That's a bargain. Good spot OP.

    I bought mine a while ago from Amazon and paid far more than this. It is a great breadmaker and one which gets the thumbs up time and time again here on MSE.

    Yes i have been watching prices on Amazon and nearly got one for £67 but glad that by the time i got round to ordering it a couple of days later the price had gone up :rotfl:
    Had a look today and they are £74.99 on there atm

    I have this breadmaker - got mine for a bargain £10 from an auction that sells ex display and returns. It is a great breadmaker - never had a loaf go wrong!

    I have one of these and it's fantastic, but Panasonic have introduced 2 new models to replace the 254 and 255, so there may be more good deals on these. I've had mine 2 1/2 years and use it daily, but the pan needs relacing now, and new pans cost around £60

    Crikey - that's an absolute bargain price. Recently bought the SD-255 for £79.99 (and that was the best available price)

    Sounds brilliant, I've been wantign a breadmaker for ages :) I'd def rather have an ex-display one for a tenner though!
